Interlibrary loan is a service that allows Garfield County Library card-holders to get books, audiobooks, DVDs, videos, CDs and copies of articles not owned by the library. We will make every attempt to fill your interlibrary loan request. If we are unable to locate the item requested, or there are no libraries able to fill the request, you will be notified. Locating and receiving a requested item usually takes 2 to 5 weeks.

To use interlibrary loan services, you must have a Garfield County Library card. The Library allows five active interlibrary loan requests per library card.

Use this form to request an item online. Please check the library catalog (change search settings to Marmot Global) before completing the form. We share materials with other Marmot libraries and if the item you want is available from a Marmot library, you can place a regular request for it. Items requested from other Marmot libraries generally are received faster than interlibrary loans. If you have any questions please contact your local branch; each branch has an interlibrary loan specialist who is happy to help.
