Browse these lists from our catalog and place a hold online! You don't need your library card to browse the list but you'll need it to request an item.
"Dear Reader" Suggested Books
These lists are organized by genre. Each book listed includes a jacket photo, brief plot description and some even have reviews. Once you decide on a book you can click on the "Find this Book in Our Catalog" link which will take your directly to the item. From there you will be able to see which branches have the book and you can place a hold and have it delivered to your local branch. Your local branch will notify you when it arrives.
You can also sign up for any of 21 specialized newsletters.
Once a month you will receive a newsletter e-mailed right to you or you can go online at any time and view the current newsletter. Choose from topics such as: New Non-Fiction, Mystery, Business, Home and Garden, Science and Nature, Classics and much more!
Novelist is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. (Requires a Library Card)
