The renovation of our building is almost complete, so our time in the temporary facility is coming to an end! We will close at 5:00 p.m. (our normal Saturday closing time) on Saturday, July 31, to prepare for the move back to our fabulous (new) branch. We will remain closed for the month of August as we pack, move, and unpack. Come celebrate our Grand Opening on Saturday, September 11, at 244 Grand Valley Way!

We joyfully provide interlibrary loan services and reader’s advisory!  Drop by and use one of our eight public access computers, with Internet connection. Wireless Internet connection extends beyond the building to the patio and parking lot for your convenience any hour of the day or night.

We offer the following programs:

• Village Artists & other community groups display works of art in a variety of mediums every two to three months.
• Children - Storytime, Fridays at 10:30 am (temporarily suspended until we re-open the new branch in September)
• Summer reading programs – Programs are offered with weekly activities and giveaways from June through August at the library.
• Friends of the Parachute Library - $5.00 to join, meetings with public programs from September through May. Two used book sales each year.

At the Parachute Branch Library it is our honor to serve the fine patrons of the Parachute/Battlement Mesa area. We are proud to welcome you to our facility and consider you friends. We look forward to seeing you often.

Parachute Branch Library
