We joyfully provide interlibrary loan services and reader’s advisory!  Drop by and use one of our eight public access computers, with Internet connection. Wireless Internet connection extends beyond the building to the patio and parking lot for your convenience any hour of the day or night.

We offer the following programs:

• Village Artists display new works in a variety of painting mediums every two-three months.
• Teen – Teen advisory group meets twice per month.
• *Children - Story Time for Toddlers & Pre-K – Every Wednesday morning during the winter months from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with a story and craft time for children ages 3 to 5.
• Summer reading programs – Four different programs are offered with weekly activities and giveaways from June through July at the library. We offer: children, teen, adult, and family programming.
• Friends of the Parachute Library - $5.00 to join, meetings with public programs from September through May. Two used book sales each year.
• Monthly displays – every month the staff of the Parachute Branch Library designs a themed display. From genre studies on romance, horror, or science fiction, to contests and special collections, the staff highlights books and materials we offer here at the library. Expect exciting new displays the first week of every month.
• Writer’s Round Table – Two Tuesdays a month the Parachute/Battlement Mesa Writer’s Round Table meets in the meeting area at 6:30 pm. Here our members work on novels in various stages of completion. Although we concentrate on fiction we welcome all writers to our group.
