Come celebrate Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights! We will be hosting a Hanukkah Party at the Carbondale Branch Library on Monday, December 2 at 4:00 pm. We'll sing Hanukkah songs, light a Menorah, play with Driedels (spinning tops), and eat Latkes (potato pancakes). This year Hanukkah begins the night of November 27, and ends the night of December 5. Do you have a favorite Hanukkah recipe? Feel free to bring a dish of latkes, donuts, or cookies to share. This event is open to everyone: those who celebrate Hanukkah and anyone interested in learning more about this holiday.
