 Norther Ute member Skyler Lomahaftewa will present an exhibition of Ute and Native American singing, dancing, language, dance regalia, story, and other cultural items.  

 Re-Styling T-Shirts with Tanya Black -- Get creative and step out in style with one of your re-styled t-shirts.  BYOT: it's best to bring your own t-shirt(s); however, there may be some extra t-shirts available.  

 Come and play in the Olympic Summer Reading Games - running, jumping, and throwing -- and win an Olympic medal!

 The Alex Project celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 7th, at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This is where you'll meet your partner, rate your book, share your thoughts with the group, and hear about the books that other teams read.

Go2Workshops@YourLibrary is offering a Computers for Beginners, Level 1 workshop! This workshop is for true beginners – no computer experience necessary. This class introduces computer vocabulary including both hardware and software terms. Learn to use the mouse and keyboard. Learn basic computer tasks in a Windows environment, and learn the differences between a document and a program. There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants. All you need is the willingness to learn! Sign up in advance by calling or visiting your local branch.

Go2Workshops@YourLibrary features a Successful Transitions Workshop for high school juniors and seniors! This 2-hour workshop is designed to help students prepare for a successful transition to post-secondary education or employment by helping students prepare winning resumes and cover letters. This workshop is divided into two parts: the first hour will feature an interactive lecture, and the second hour will give students the opprotunity for individualized assistance. Bring your laptop and current resume or cover letter if you'd like, or just bring yourself and willingness to learn!
