5th Element K-2 Class @ Rifle

Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to the Rifle Branch Library on Friday, January 11 from 12 to 2 p.m. to study the basic elements of art with Ms. Ashley Atwater. Students will explore lines, textures, shapes, and primary and secondary colors. We will examine how these elements appear in famous works of art, and then we will create our own pieces of art through drawing, painting, and collage. We will create a class art gallery where students can enjoy everyone’s artwork! Supplies and snacks will be provided.
