Closures

Closures are approved by our Board of Trustees and include full closures for holidays and staff work days as well as early closures.

2012 Closures

All branches will be closed on the following dates.

New Year's Day: Sunday, January 1

This closure affects only the Rifle and Glenwood Springs Branch Libraries. All other branches are closed on Sundays.

Easter: Sunday, April 8

This closure affects only the Rifle and Glenwood Springs Branch Libraries. All other branches are closed on Sundays.

Staff Work Day: Friday, April 20

Memorial Day: Monday, May 28

Independence Day: Wednesday, July 4

Labor Day: Monday, September 3

Staff Work Day: Monday, October 1

Thanksgiving Eve: Wednesday, November 21 - Close at 6:00 pm

This early closure only affects our Gordon Cooper Branch. All other branches close at 6:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 22

Day after Thanksgiving: Friday, November 23

Staff Holiday Reception: Sunday, December 9 - Close early at 4:00 pm

Christmas Eve: Monday, December 24

Christmas Day: Tuesday, December 25
