The Gordon Cooper Library in Carbondale, Colorado, is a branch of the Garfield County Library District. It functions as a full service community library. Colorado Library Card participants are entitled to use all the library's resources including wireless Internet access, public access computers, interlibrary loan services, and an on-site collection of books and media consisting of 24,500 items. The library is located in the center of the downtown core of Carbondale, in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley. Carbondale is a small, eclectic town known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreation.

The Friends of the Gordon Cooper Branch Library will hold their annual spring used book sale from Friday, April 13, through Monday, April 23. Click here to learn more.

Kids, check out our Tuesdays @ the Library series - we have exciting activities at the Gordon Cooper Branch rotating on a weekly basis. First Tuesday of the month is Paws to Read, second Tuesday is Creation Station, third Tuesday is BookTalk, and fourth Tuesday is Games Galore. Visit each week to maximize your fun!
