Hip Hop Dance for Kids
Garfield County Libraries is pleased to present free hip hop dance lessons for kids ages 11 and younger in conjunction with the America’s Music film and discussion series taking place throughout October and November. Hip Hop Dance Lessons for Kids will be held on Wednesday, October 2 from 6:15 - 7:15 pm. We’ll have dance instructors from the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts here to show you how to bust a move. No previous dance experience required!
Garfield County Libraries was one of 81 sites selected to host the six-week program series, "America's Music: A Film History of Our Popular Music from Blues to Bluegrass to Broadway,” and this program is part of the series. "America's Music" is a project of the Tribeca Film Institute in collaboration with the American Library Association, Tribeca Flashpoint, and the Society for American Music. This program has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the Human Endeavor.
