Volunteer
Volunteers provide much-needed services at all of our Branch Libraries. These services vary by the volunteer’s personal interest and each branch library’s needs. Volunteer opportunities may involve:
Shelving materials;
Delivering library resources to homebound community members;
Helping with special events such as book sales or children's programs;
Helping to prepare storytime materials;
And much more!
If you are interested in sharing your talents and expertise with the Garfield County Public Library District, please contact the Branch Manager at your preferred library. You will need to complete a Volunteer Agreement and volunteers ages 12-18 require parental signature.
Volunteers are also needed to help our friends at Literacy Outreach. Literacy Outreach is a local non-profit organization which combats adult illiteracy in Garfield County. Tutors are always needed! For more information, please call Literacy Outreach at 945-5282 or click here.
