What to Do When Someone Dies

The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is sponsoring a free program titled "What to Do When Someone Dies" on Wednesday, March 19 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The program is useful for those who have recently lost a loved one. Topics covered include how to administer an estate, probate versus non-probate, creditor claims, distributing assets, transferring assets and taxes. Also included will be family disagreements, whether the court needs to be involved, and what to do if there is or isn't a will. The program will be presented by Brown and Brown P.C., a law firm with offices in Glenwood Springs. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, call 970-243-8250 or visit www.brownandbrownpc.com.
