National Novel Writing Month: Writers' Prep and Discussion Group

Attention aspiring novelists: Let’s get those books written! NaNoWriMo is an organization that promotes writing an entire novel (50,000 words) in one month. Join us at the Carbondale Branch Library for special events on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm in the Community Room where we celebrate and support writers who wish to come together in pursuit of this goal.

October 3-24 • Writers’ Prep & Discussion Group • Topics include plot structure, character development, dialogue, action sequences, etc.

October 31 • Nanowrimo Pep Rally! • Encouragement, Halloween refreshments, and writerly fellowship.

November 7-28 • Come Write In! • Grab a cup of tea, a spot at a table, and get some words on the page.

December 5 • Writers’ Soiree • Wrap-up party for all writers!
