Welcome to a Day in Tahiti

Your Garfield County Libraries invite you to a dance concert to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage. Aspen Polynesia will present a fun show where they will feature different Ori Tahiti dances, from the beautiful and exotic island of Tahiti. Do you know what an Otea (oh•tay•ah) or an Aparima (ah•pear•ee•mah) is? Do you know what instruments are used to play Tahitian music? Aspen Polynesia will explain all this and more. Come to enjoy a free bilingual show full of dancing and drumming!
