A Colorado native, she grew up reading anything the town library had in stock. The love of literature led her to a teaching career and eventually into the school library. New Castle Branch Library Opens April 14

The New Castle Branch Library will reopen on April 14, 2012, with a Grand Re-Opening Ceremony that will start at 10 a.m. Join us for refreshments and giveaways until 2 p.m. The new library will feature a beautiful new fireplace and reading area, local history room, teen area, interactive children's area and new community meeting room. Book Sales

The Friends of the Library groups at our Glenwood Springs and Gordon Cooper (Carbondale) branches hold large, semi-annual sales in May and October. Each of our six branches has a smaller, ongoing sale organized by their Friends of the Library group. These sales are located in the branches; please contact your local branch for more information.
